Steps to Attending IADA

Step 1: Apply Online

Applying to IADA involves no fees or commitment. All new student applicants are asked to submit the following:

 

Written/Video Essay

A short written or video essay answering the following question:

“Why would you be excited to attend a music theatre school?”

300-500 words OR 1-3 minute video

Performance Video

A 2-4 minute video performance showcasing at least one discipline of music theatre.

Videos performances may include:

A song, scene, monologue, dance, and/or a pre-recorded excerpt from a performance or self tape.

Application Form

Complete our application form in full by clicking on the “Apply Now” button below. Students will be able to upload the essay and performance video within the form.

 

Applications are now open for the 2024-2025 school year

Step 2: Accept your Offer

Once you are ready to commit and reserve your spot at IADA, accept your offer by completing the registration form attached to your acceptance email.

Step 3: Tuition Schedule

Academic fees can be paid in full or in monthly installments.

Course fees are outlined below:

Single Credit Student (one credit per year):

Music Theatre Voice OR Music Theatre Drama

$400 registration deposit + $400/month from September - April (HST not incl.)

Double Credit Student (two credits per year):

Music Theatre Voice AND Music Theatre Drama

$600 registration deposit + $600/month from September - April (HST not incl.)

Scholarship and bursary application forms are available for families requiring financial support.
